Action

Share. Stand. Convene. Incubate.

Scholars for Social Justice is a member-based organization of progressive scholars committed to fighting for justice for all, especially those most vulnerable. SSJ mobilizes the knowledge, skills and resources of scholars to battle the repressive attacks on marginalized communities. Issues impacting immigrants, people of color, LGBTQ, Muslim, women, disabled, indigenous and poor and working-class communities are our priority.

SSJ facilitates a number of convenings, statements, and actions each year. In addition, our members are affiliated with a number of organizations whose missions and objectives align with ours. Below you will find a detailed schedule of our upcoming convenings, statements and actions which are either orchestrated by SSJ or endorsed by our coordinating committee.
